Deep Fry: Heat the oil to 350-375°F (175-190°C). Carefully place the Batata Vada into the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan (fry them in batches if necessary).
Fry until the Batata Vada are golden brown and crispy (4-5 minutes), making sure to cook them evenly on all sides. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the Batata Vada in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown, turning them over halfway through the cooking time.
Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Place the Batata Vada on the baking sheet with some space between each one. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Turn them over halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking.
Remove from the oven and serve hot.
